The Rome University of Fine Arts in Via Libetta, behind the Rectorate of Roma Tre, is the new urban transformation and regeneration project signed by architect Alessandro Ridolfi, created on the approximately 4,000 sqm area that used to house the Falegnameria Triestina, which has taken into account the industrial character of the warehouses' original use, aiming to enhance the historic buildings and preserve the complex's identity features.
The Campus, already partially operational will be completed by the end of the year and will house 4 buildings gathered around the large courtyard environments for teaching, laboratories, and spaces dedicated to events aimed at the territory. RUFA is the first Roman hub to be equipped with energy-efficient facilities that, together with the photovoltaic system, support most of the facility's energy needs.
The court accommodates green areas and charging stations for electric vehicles. Particular attention is paid to the arrangement of green areas and plants indoors to reduce the harmful effects of indoor pollution.
The lease agreement, signed at the end of 2022, is a single one with a duration of 9+9 years with no possibility of termination.
